Trevor has been invited by Combined Canine Club to judge groups 1 & 5 breeds and groups at their Christmas Open Show on 3rd December 2017. This is one of Irelands biggest Open shows and also only open show to qualify for pup of the Year.

Word just in that Trevor has been passed by the Irish kennel club to judge Group 2 for the first time plus breeds at Cloghran Championship show on 25th November (breeds Black Russian Terrier, German Pinscher, Giant Schauzer, Hovawart, Italian Corso, Mastiff, Pyrenean Mountain Dog, Schnauzer Miniature & standard, Shar Pei, Tibetan Mastiff and Unlisted in Group 2. He is looking forward to this appointment.
Today Trevor was given the honour of judging BEST IN SHOW & BEST BABY PUPPY IN SHOW, together with several group 9 molosser breeds & AVNS Molosser breeds at The Molosser Breeds Assocation of Ireland's inaugural Group Show. He would like to thank the club for giving him this honour. He thoroughly enjoyed the day, and thanks also the exhibitors who showed under him for the great sportsmanship.
Today we lost that once in a lifetime dog.... Callywag leaves us broken hearted, such a sweetheart in life... a pleasure to have share out lives, and what she gave us back. In her short show career she made Newfoundland history in Ireland becoming 1st ever Junior Champion, she won Res Pup of the Year 2008, Euro Winner 2009, Celtic JUnior winner 08, Celtic winner 09, made up to a champion in 80 days (we need 7 CAC to become champion) several best in shows, group winner, both times shown at crufts placed 2nd & VHS but all these it was her that was our treasure. She has left such a hole in our lives.... we held her in our arms, and told her how much she was loved as she passed over the rainbow bridge.... sleep tight little lady to we see you again.
Today our oldest member of our family crossed the rainbow bridge, Kodi..aged 13 years and 2 months old... Irish Champion and a CC to her name... she was the clown of our gang... tail always wagging.. we will miss you sweet girl..
Today Trevor judged his next 4 breeds in his progression, Boxers (21) Bulldogs (28) Bullmastiffs (7) & Dobermanns (10) Total entry of 66 which he was delighted with. Today we had a new addition to the family, not 4 legged but the birth of our first grandchild, a baby boy CASEY LIAM McVEA born at 12.20pm weighing in at 5lb 10 ozs (5 weeks early)

Alison was voted into office as Secretary of the new Molosser Breeds Association of Ireland club today. This is a new club being set up in Ireland to help and educate people in the molosser breeds.

Sadly this morning life became too much for Mr Simon (Multi ch D'Fairweathers for Shadows Eternity) and he crossed the rainbow bridge.. Our hearts are broken, and he leaves a very large void in our lives and in our home. You will never be forgotten big man... love you so much.
Today Trevor had honour of judging at the Combined Canine Championship Show and was delighted with his entries, he had one of the largest entries of Dogue de Bordeaux in quite a long time.. It has been confirmed by the IKC that Trevor is to do his next progession judging at Combined Canine National Show on 5th April 2015 - he will be awarding Green Stars (CAC's) in Dogue de Bordeaux, Leonbergers and St Bernards long haired & short haired. He thanks Combined Canine club for this opportunity.
With heavy hearts today we had to say goodbye to our old Girl Angel (Newveighbear Danaes Angel) She would have been 12 next month, but sadly life got too much of a struggle... Never a showgirl but very very special to us. Given to us by our dear late friend Evelyn McVeigh when we had just suffered heartache of losing our first newfy Mac.... hence her name as she was born on what would have been Macs 5th birthday... a Special girl who will always have a piece of our hearts with her... Thank you sweet girl for nearly 12 years of happy memories and truly devoted companionship

On Saturday 18th May, Trevor became Championship show judge awarding Green stars (CACs) in Newfoundlands for the first time. With entry of 14 ( which is above average for showing in Ireland at present time). GSD was Fords Fagergards an irish coffee please for Waterbound, RGSD was Kinsella - Fearless bears in the Mood at Kenamu, BGS & BOB was Kinsella - Kenamu Bring me Sunshine and RGSB was Hamill - Shalowseas sparks will fly. Trevor presented everyone who supported his appointment with a small gift and Green star winners received small piece of Crystal. Big Thank you to all who supported him and also to Lynda Matthews, Officers and committee of Hibernian Championship Show who gave him the appointment.

At Belfast Show on Easter Tuesday, Dana wins Best of Breed under judge Ms B Evans and goes on to be placed 4th in the Working Group.
